York Regional Police say they’ve dismantled a violent criminal organization responsible for armed robberies, home invasions and murder.
As Catherine McDonald reports, 13 people were arrested during Project Wrangler, a multi-jurisdictional investigation.
Two suspects remain at large and are subject to Canada-wide arrest warrants.
One is a 20-year-old man with ties to the Hamilton and Kitchener-Waterloo areas wanted by Quebec police in connection with a first-degree murder charge. The second is a 24-year-old man wanted on more than 20 charges including participating in a criminal organization and conspiracy to commit murder.
